Remember Valentine's Day when you were in school? Making fancy Valentine boxes from shoe boxes? Making Valentines out of construction paper and doilies? Bringing home your box and carefully opening each Valentine to see who was thinking of you? Hoping to find a box of conversation hearts or your favorite character inside one of the tiny envelopes?
Well that is exactly what we are doing for the kids at the hospital this year. We will be delivering hundreds, possibly thousands of Valentines to them in the days and weeks to come. Each child will receive a Valentine box or bag stuffed full of Valentines and maybe even a few special treats.
This is the perfect opportunity to get your kids involved with project Believe. Whether you are making Valentines or buying them at the store, include a few extras for the kids at the hospital. There are approximately 35 children we are focused on right now, so just one $3 box of Valentines is enough!
Just have your kids sign their first names, or you sign them, or write a brief note of encouragement if you're so inclined and then drop them in the mail (or at the doorstep) to:

We will be hand delivering them on Valentine's Day. Imagine being a child and feeling completely forgotten in the hospital and then having dozens of Valentines show up!
Be their Valentine?
